CITY OF THE FUTURE, OXFORD STREET, LONDON

Up to 25 October 2011 the number one London store, Selfridges, is the extraordinary venue of the "Museum of Everything", which is focusing on the work of international outsider art ateliers. More than 200 drawings, paintings and scupltures by previously in England unexhibited artists will be showcased in the shop windows of the magnificent building along Oxford Street / corner of Orchand Road and within a 1.500 sqm specially built structure. The Deutsches Architekturmuseum loaned the four part model sculpture "City of the Future" by Stefan Häfner, on which the artist has worked for 10 years. The Frankfurt-based Atelier Goldstein, where Stefan Häfner worked, is represented at the exhibition with its artists Hans-Jörg Georgi (flight objects and drawings), Julius Bockelt (freehand ink drawings), Andreas Skorupa (interpretation of Japanese woodcuts) and Holger Frischkorn (S/M painting series).
